A sick right hand kidney pool that sits under pavement now. At the time, this pool was the center piece for this run down motel in Long Beach. Rarely ridden and for the most part undocumented, this is a rare glimpse into a spot that rarely was. Rumor was that 5 minute sessions were about as much as anybody got. Must have been lucky because I rode there a few times for about 15 or so. I went back and snapped a few without skating and obviously this is not one of those. I had to time my skating with the traffic and did no kick turns only carves so I would not make any noise. Video of this spot was immortalized in the seminal pool skating documentary Chlorine.
